The Lafitte's Ladies take on the Acadiana Rollergirls during a Roller Derby match at West Cal Event Center on Saturday night. The Gulf Coast Roller Girls began in August 2009. Originally from Orange, TX, we started out as a flat track roller derby team. Following a reformation and reorganization in 2010, the GCRG was changed to a league name and merged with the newly formed Lafitte's Ladies, a flat track team in Lake Charles, LA. The league is now based in Lake Charles, LA.
