Tesa Pace and her great-nephew Lane Pousson, 7, like to read books together. The pair decided to get a little fresh air Wednesday while they read, “As You Grow” by Kirk Cameron under the shade of an oak tree at the Lake Charles Civic Center. Lane also made a new friend. Roger “Cat” Jackson, walking up in the background in the photo, stopped to show the boy and his aunt the bucket of 15 crabs he caught in the lake. Jackson helped Lane take a crab out of the bucket so he could get a good look.
