Kids got the opportunity to eat dirt and worms on Monday during the McNeese State University Leisure Learning all-day spring break week for children in grades K-8 from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. April 6-10 in Burton Hall as part of its Kids College program. Activities will include geo-caching (searching for hidden items through a GPS), science, archaeology, storytelling, art projects, reading and sports. Drop off is at 7:30 a.m. and pick up is no later than 5:30 p.m. Parents will need to pack lunches each day. Cost for the week is $140 and a discounted price of $125 for siblings.
