New brick entrance column at Drew Park

Donna Price / American Press
Tyler Trahan, left, throws a handful of bricks on a Vigo Masonry truck down to coworker William Goodwin at Drew Park Tuesday morning. The pair is part of a crew rebuilding a column that was toppled in Hurricane Laura at the park entrance on Dr. Michael DeBakey Drive. Once the concrete column at right is bricked, it will look like like the existing red brick column at the left of the park entrance.
