On Wednesday, April 1st, 12:30pm, there will be a Ribbon Cutting for American Heart Association designated Walking Path at Prien Lake Park. Donald Lloyd II, CEO of CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital, the American Heart Association, Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and Mayor Randy Roach will unveil a new American Heart Association officially designated Walking Path on National Walking Day. The American Heart Association’s designated Walking Path program, sponsored by CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital, provides safe and accessible walking paths that give the community a resource that can be used to increase heart health.
