Jordan Ashworth and Sgt. Jeff Morgan, both with Lake Charles City Police, conduct a search in Contraband Bayou at Kirkman Street Monday afternoon as part of a continuing investigation into a homicide that took place Oct. 24 on Reidway Street. Shawn Pardon, 34, was found dead on Reidway. An arrest has been made.A Lake Charles Police Department spokesman said he couldn't comment on results from the search.
