Workers with Pat Williams Construction inspect the roof of the Historic City Hall clock tower, left, as it sits in the building’s parking lot at the corner of Iris and Bilbo streets Tuesday. The roofless tower is at right. A spokesman with the company said the next step will be to get with Lake Charles city officials to see how they wish to proceed with the rebuilding project. The clock tower was badly damaged during Hurricane Laura in 2020.
