‘Fueling the Fight’ lunch is served
American Press receptionist Cassie Meaux sorts through boxes of lunches from Pujo Street Cafe, 901 Ryan St., to be distributed to Press employees Wednesday. The free lunches were part of The United Way of Southwest Louisiana’s “Fueling the Fight” program. As part of the project, the United Way and Entergy are working with local restaurants to prepare and deliver meals to groups of employees who have remained on the job during the pandemic.
