We are gathering signatures on a petition to present to the Calcasieu Parish School Board to have Coach Suarez's name added to Matt Walker Stadium. Matt Walker was the first ever football coach at Sulphur High School, and Shannon Suarez is the longest-tenured and all-time winningest football coach in Sulphur High School history. It would be a fitting legacy for the Golden Tors' stadium to honor both these gentlemen with Walker-Suarez Stadium.
