MLK celebration continued with the annual Family Day celebration at the Lake Charles Civic Center. Local residents were able to enjoy live, local and national entertainers with the best in Zydeco, R&B, Blues and Southern Soul music. The big Celebrity Gumbo Cook-Off Contest was held as exhibitions of local vendors featuring arts, crafts, Creole and Cajun food.
