10 year old Kenleigh, the daughter of Donna Ivey of Lake Charles, spend Saturday making Christmas cards at Historic City Hall in Lake Charles. The City of Lake Charles is currently hosting the annual Homemade Christmas Card Workshop during the month of December. All ages are welcome to apply their creative skills using several mediums from crayons to water colors to markers. All materials are provided. While there, kids are also welcome to right letters to Santa, which will be delivered directly to the North Pole. The cards will go to The Calcasieu Council on Aging for distribution to area nursing homes through its Ombudsman Program.
