Many Calcasieu Parish school students are celebrating the 100th day of school today. Some students, like these fourth graders at College Oaks Elementary, kicked off things a day early by wearing “100 days” shirts on Monday. They are, from left, Colton Pitcher, Bryleigh Augustine and Aubree Williams. Colton’s shirt reads “100 days of driving my teacher nuts.” Bryleigh’s shirt, which she decorated herself, reads: “Pushing my teacher’s buttons for 100 days of school.” Aubree’s shirt reads: “Sparkled my way through 100 days.”
