A night-blooming moonflower opens up on a Lake Charles plant Monday evening.This plant’s large, trumpet-shape flowers unfurl in the evening but fade quickly once the sun comes out the next day. According to Wikipedia,the name moonflower derives from their blooming in the evening and their being round in shape like a full moon.
