Several activities have been planned for students as part of Multicultural Week March 3-5 on the McNeese State University campus.

The event is sponsored by the McNeese Multicultural Programming Office.

Multicultural week gives students a chance to experience different cultures around the world, according to Ashley Bridgewater, graduate assistant in the Multicultural Programming Office.

“It gives them the opportunity to experience meaningful, culturally diverse programs on campus,” she said. Thursday, March 5
7 p.m. – Bollywood Explosion, La Jeunesse Room
The Bollywood culture of the Indian film industry will be celebrated through various popular Indian foods, music and activities. Students can also learn the steps to a typical Bollywood dance routine taught by instructors and international students.
