I am sending this email in regards to The Gardens-Assisted Living Home located here in Lake Charles. This week is a big deal here at The Gardens. Assisted Living Week is all about our community, friends, family, and staff coming together to show our love and support to these residents that live in an Assisted Living Facility. It is a great thing. Our theme is “Tour of Louisiana’s Fairs and Festivals.” Everyday we have tons of activities/events planned. Monday, September 14th we have the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff, Tony Mancuso, attending at 3:00 p.m. to show his support to our residents and call Bingo for them. Tuesday, September 15th, we are doing a Louisiana Football Theme Day. We will be having a Tailgate party on this day at 2:00 p.m. We will have entertainment from McNeese Cowgirl Kickers and possibly some band members, football players, cheerleaders, and the Mascot. Wednesday, September 16th, we will be having a Dinner Bingo Hall night at 5:00 p.m. with our new owners that just took over our facility. Thursday, September 17th, Dee’s dancers will be performing and we will be having a fair/festival theme day with cotton candy machines and much more. Friday, September 18th, we will have our “New Orleans” theme finale. A band will be present along with residents and guests at 5 pm to 7 pm. It’s going to be massive.
With all of the events that I just listed, I am asking for you to be present for tomorrow’s event, Tailgate party at 2:00 (Tuesday). The Cowgirl Kickers will be here. Lots of fun. If you can be present to take pictures and have a write up of what this week is all about. Let me know if this is possible. So maybe it could hit the papers on Wednesday morning. Anything you can do please just give me a call to set something up.
Again this is for the residents and our community coming together to acknowledge these wonderful people. Anything you can do, would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing back from yall!
