Calcasieu Parish Clerk of Court Lynn Jones waves to motorists at the intersection of Nelson Road and Interstate 210 Friday morning. Wearing a Benjamin Franklin costume he ordered online and holding a sign that reads, ÒDonÕt be a turkey, vote Saturday, Jones hopes his appearances at several high-traffic locations in the parish will boost voter turnout in todayÕs election. Jones said he was getting plenty of smiles and horn honks from Nelson Road motorists.
