A “road closed to thru traffic” sign remains lying in a ditch Monday morning on W. Sale Road near Burton Lane where it has been since Friday evening after apparently being hit by a vehicle. A nearby resident stated that late in the day, the setting sun hinders the vision of motorists heading west down the road, which made the sign, with its one reflective light, difficult to see.
