This year KZWA 104.9FM & Vibe 105 Foundation Inc. present "The Essence of Freedom" one of the biggest Juneteenth Festivals ever! The festival will celebrate the 149th year of freedom with Maze featuring Frankie Beverly performing live in concert. Also, to hit the stage will be Mel Waiters, Andre Pitre, Tommy Hammond, & Bel-AMI with a host of local performers at the Lake Charles Civic Center. The annual Celebrity BBQ cook off, vendors courtyard, Kids Zone, Lip Sync for your life with Oak Park Elementary, Celebrity look-a-like Andre 3000 Lip Sync Performance, Zydeco with the youth, and many more family fun activities will be featured in this year Juneteenth Festival.
