Donna Price / American Press Lake Charles City Police stand by as an employee with Bayou Wrecker & Towing lies beneath the cab of an 18-wheeler cab on Interstate 10 westbound Wednesday afternoon as he works at connecting the cab to a wrecker. The Bek Express,LLC truck, towing an auto transport trailer, hit the concrete median that separates the east and westbound lanes during Wednesday morning’s rain. The accident occured near I-10's intersection with Prater Road, across from Road King Travel Plaza. Westbound traffic was diverted while the accident was cleaned up.
